We all know that no matter who you are, understanding someone else’s story can bring unity. It’s a big part of why Sunday night’s panel was so helpful; we got to hear each others’ stories and experiences. Another way to do that is through movies, so today’s link is a list of movies from Brenda Salter-McNeil that you may find helpful when trying to stay involved in issues of race.
Some of them might not be your cup of tea and that’s ok! Be sure to check out the reviews to see if it’s a good fit for you. Some of these are violent, some have strong language, sexual content, difficult themes, you name it. But each one is worth a watch because it is guaranteed to make you think and I tried to include a good mix of the different types.
