Just in case you missed it – or didn’t miss it and need a reminder – here’s the challenge that Harold gave us on Sunday:
Seven day challenge of intimacy
Intimacy: drawing closer in oneness.
If you’re not married:Invest 30 minutes for seven days:
Take the first 15 minutes and spend in thanksgiving and praise. Please don’t make any requests during this time.
Take the next 15 minutes to read the following verses and sit in quietness. No talking; just reading and listening.
Philippians 3:7-10
Colossians 1:9-14
If you are married:Invest time together for seven days:
Draw near to God and to one another. Begin your time of intimacy in prayer and end your time in prayer. Let your prayer time be a time of thankfulness praise to the Lord for one another.
You will need to decide together how you will draw near to one another between the opening and closing prayer.
If you have no idea what this challenge is all about, you might want to listen to the message here. I’m wondering – how’s it going? Did you take him up on the challenge?
