Historically, Lent has been a season of prayer, fasting, and generosity—a time to slow down and realign our hearts with the Lord before we celebrate the resurrection.

This year at Fellowship North, we are choosing to spend our Lenten season intentionally in prayer.

Why Prayer?
Life moves quickly. Schedules fill up. Responsibilities multiply. And before we know it, Easter arrives without us ever truly preparing our hearts.

Lent invites us to pause.

It invites us to listen.

It invites us to seek God’s heart together.

Prayer isn’t about checking a spiritual box. It’s about dependence. It’s about reminding ourselves that we are not the source—He is. As a family of families, we want to be a church that doesn’t just talk about seeking God but actually does it.

Join Us on Wednesdays
Beginning February 18, we will gather each Wednesday from 6:00–6:45 pm for guided prayer. Each week, one of our small groups will lead us with a specific focus:

Prayer of Confession

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Prayer for Workers

Pray for Outsiders to Be Saved

Pray for the Maturity of the Church

Pray that God would expand our borders for the Gospel

Prayer for our Nation and the World

Each gathering will be simple, intentional, and focused. No pressure. No performance. Just space to pray.

If You Can’t Attend…
We truly hope you’ll prioritize being in the room. There is something powerful about unified prayer. But if you are unable to attend, we invite you to set aside that same time on Wednesdays to pray wherever you are. Let’s move through this season united in spirit, even when we can’t all be together physically.

One church. One heart. Seeking the Lord together.

Come As You Are
You don’t need special words. You don’t need perfect consistency. You don’t need to have it all figured out.

Just come.

Let’s prepare our hearts for Easter by doing what the disciples once asked Jesus to teach them:

“Lord, teach us to pray.”

We look forward to walking this Lenten journey with you.

Between family commitments, end-of-year deadlines, shopping lists, and the steady pace of everyday life, it can be hard to find a moment to simply breathe. That’s why The Gift of Gathering is intended to be one of the most cherished traditions for the women of our church—a sacred pause in the middle of a busy season.

This year, we invite you to step away from the rush and step into an evening created just for you.

A Night of Warmth, Worship, and Connection
When you walk into the Lookout on Saturday, December 6, you’ll be greeted by the glow of soft lights, beautifully decorated tables, and the warm laughter of friends old and new. This isn’t just a dinner—it’s a space to exhale, to enjoy a meal you didn’t have to cook, and to be reminded that God delights in giving His daughters the gift of rest and community.

We’ll share delicious food, take time to worship together, and enjoy moments that lift our spirits and refocus our hearts. Whether you’re coming with a group of friends or stepping into the room not knowing a single soul, there is a place for you at this table.

Why We Gather
Jesus often did His most meaningful work around tables—with meals, conversation, and shared moments that brought people closer to Him and to each other. That’s the heartbeat behind this evening: to make room for connection, encouragement, laughter, and the joy we experience when we gather as sisters in Christ.

The Gift of Gathering is more than an event. It’s a reminder that even in the busiest seasons, God calls us to slow down long enough to receive His peace.

Come Expecting Good Things
We believe God uses nights like these to refresh weary hearts, strengthen friendships, and create new ones. So come expecting joy. Come expecting rest. Come expecting to be reminded that you belong.

We can’t wait to spend this evening with you.

Saturday, December 6

5:00–7:00 pm

The Lookout

Dinner, worship, laughter, and community

Let’s gather together and celebrate the true Gift of Christmas—Emmanuel, God with us.

REGISTER HERE
Deadline to register is Sunday, November 30
