Happy Anniversary Fellowship North

Fellowship North's 42nd Anniversary Celebration: Plan A & Plan B

This Sunday, Fellowship North will gather to celebrate 42 years of God's faithfulness. We are looking forward to a wonderful day filled with worship, food, fellowship, laughter, and creating new memories together.

As many of you know, we have planned our anniversary celebration at Burns Park's Oak Pavilion. However, with rain currently in the forecast, we wanted to communicate both our Plan A and Plan B so everyone can be prepared.

Plan A: Burns Park – Oak Pavilion
Our hope is to move forward exactly as planned.

The pavilion will be available beginning at 10:00 am, and if you are bringing a side dish, we ask that you arrive between 10:00 am and 11:00 am.

At 11:00 am, we'll gather for a brief worship service that will include two worship songs, a message from Pastor Harold, and a time of prayer as we thank God for His faithfulness, pray over our meal, and ask Him to use us as lights in our community.

Following the service, we'll gather for our church family photo before enjoying an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun together.

Weather permitting, we'll also have:
  • Baggo Tournament
  • Pickleball Tournament

Most importantly, we'll enjoy being together as a church family. Our prayer is that as we gather, the world will see the love of Christ displayed through the way we love and care for one another.

Plan B: Fellowship North – The Lookout

If weather conditions make an outdoor gathering impractical, we'll move the celebration to The Lookout at Fellowship North.

The schedule will remain the same, and we'll still enjoy food, fellowship, games, and plenty of opportunities to connect.

While we won't be able to host the Pickleball Tournament indoors, we still plan to have:
  • Baggo games
  • Carpet Ball for the kids
  • Checkers and tic-tac-toe
  • A small play area for our younger children

Tables will be arranged in The Lookout, and chairs are already available. We still encourage you to bring a lawn chair if possible. This will help minimize setup and create a more relaxed, family-style atmosphere.

When Will We Decide?
The elders will monitor the weather and make a final decision regarding the location by noon on Saturday.

Once a decision has been made, we will communicate it through all church communication channels, including email, social media, the church app, and text messaging.

Until then, please plan on Plan A.

And remember: whether we're at Burns Park or The Lookout, we're still celebrating, we're still gathering, and yes—we'll still need those side dishes! The only thing that may change is the location.

We are excited to celebrate 42 years of God's faithfulness with you and look forward to all that He has in store for Fellowship North in the days ahead.
